Details of the apartment
The Résidence Rousseau - 1st floor - is a high class furnished apartment in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Paris : the Louvre-Royal Palace area. Visit the most famous museum in the world, former home of the Kings of France, and enjoy the Parisian way of living with the excellent restaurants and luxury boutiques on Saint-Honoré street.
The building with elevator is very safe, since it is protected by two successive doors and an intercom. The closest metro station is only a footstep away and in good weather you can walk to the Marais or Saint-Germain des Pres quarters.
Everything in the Rousseau Residence has been made with the intention that you forget about time : harmonized tones, a bathroom worthy of a hotel’s, a modern kitchen, etc. Finally so many accessories are available to make your life simple: flat-screen TV with international channels, wireless internet access, hair dryer, iron, etc. It is a Residence with no false notes, which is faithful to the pictures shown and to its former tenants’ testimonies.
* All costs related to electricity, water and gas consumption, heating, bed linen, unlimited Internet connection, local phone calls (and to some international countries) and/or the mobile phone provided (credits are not included), a selection of tea, coffee, shower gel and shampoo upon arrival, as well as cleaning of the apartment when you leave are included in the total rental cost. Moreover no residential tax has to be paid.
** The rates per night can be increased for short stays (less than 6 nights) to compensate the fixed costs of cleaning.

Open from Monday to Saturday until 20:00, this supermarket offers a small butcher's corner, bakery bread, hot prepared dishes and the usual food products. Note that home delivery is free starting from 70 euros purchase. Very convenient after a long journey, the number of bottles (soft drinks, milk, etc.) is however limited for this kind of deliveries.

Anecdote
The so-called Jean-Jacques Rousseau street takes its name from the famous French writer who lived there in the 18th century. Jean de la Fontaine, as well an exceptional writer, also elected domicile in this street. In 1695, the famous poet died in the hôtel Derval (the street was then called the Plâtrière street), which has since been replaced by the Post Office of the Louvre.
The apartment was great, Vladamir always returns emails really quickly, even with different time zones going on !
Don't hesitate to visit Paris in the winter, bundle up and you're good to go.... NO crowds, great restaurants. We were all alone in some of the salons at the Louvre : unbelievable. We hope to return again !!!
