Details of the apartment
The first choice of "low budget" travellers or young couples, the Résidence du Pont des Arts - 1st floor - is located in Saint-Germain des Pres a few hundred yards from the Seine River. This fully equipped studio will be the starting point of your Parisian life. When the sun shines, you can go by foot or bicycle (with the Vélib ' station around the corner) to the Louvre and Orsay Museums, both located at reasonable distance.
Just a few steps from your apartment, you will find the essential food stores such as supermarket, bakery or open market as well as many restaurants and cafes to relax. The area is also popular for its art galleries and antique shops, which are all united within the Association of Art Saint-Germain des Pres.
As for the layout of the apartment, the mezzanine with its very comfortable double bed allows an optimal arrangement of space so that you can fully enjoy the living room. Finally, a laptop is at your disposal during your stay and you do not have to take yours on trip.

Anecdote
After Molière's death in 1673, his troupe looked for a new theater. The comedians settled at the so-called jeu de paume de la Bouteille, situated rue Guénégaud. Molière's troupe merged in 1680 with the Hôtel de Bourgogne to become the famous Comédie Française.
Bill and I spent two weeks in the small residence du Pont des Arts in May. We had a great time and the apartment met our needs very well. It was fun to be in the midst of a lively neighborhood with restaurants, shops, and local markets nearby as well as to have all the important cultural and tourist sites within easy reach. It was a great value for the money.
Vladimir is an excellent host and made our reservation and access to the apartment easy and fast. When we return to Paris, I am sure we will contact him again.
