My fiancée and I stayed at the Résidence du Pont des Arts (1st floor) for 8 nights in March and had a wonderful stay. This was actually my second time renting an appartment from Vladimir, who was very welcoming and helpful on both occasions. The apartments are small, but cozy. You will find all of the advertised features. They are well equipped and everything works. But the best part is the location. You simply will not find anything better in the St-Michel/Latin Quarter area for a better price. I will definitely try to stay there again the next time we go to Paris. Thank you Vladimir.

The Residence Voltaire is a small garret on the 6th floor (with elevator) and very modern furnishings and equipment. It was everything we needed for the two weeks we stayed there.
There was the feeling of being a true Parisian every time we left the building. The Metro station at the Place de la Republique was just outside the door to our building. From there everything is Paris was accessible either by Metro or the RER trains.
On days that we did not sight-see (both of them) we explored the neighborhood. Within easy walking distance is everything anyone could ever need. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and shops.
And, by the way, for my American countrymen, the people of Paris could not have been more accommodating, civil and truly nice to us.
When addressing a Frenchman, always give them a blast of your awful French before asking if they speak English. The reply will almost certainly be in better English than your French. We never had a language problem.

My friends, Barbara and Carla came to Paris with me this time. I generally go to Paris in the spring and the fall. I think this was the fourth time that I rented from Vladimir but the first time in this apartment on the third floor. It was a large apartment and there was enough room for both my friends, me and my fourth friend, Agnes, who visited for a few days.

Agnes flew in from Budapest. She will be living in Spain for 6 months and Bangkok for 6 months so I will probably visit her in one or both of those places in the near future.

Two of us shared a double bed and two friends had couches/pull out beds to sleep on. There was definitely enough room and the apartment was located in a great location of Paris in the 6th arr. It was nice staying in an apartment because we often had wine and/or made pop corn in the evenings...etc. We had a great time !

Our family spent the first week of April at Residence Duc de Savoie. It was our 2nd rental experience with Vladimir. On both occasions everything was very straightforward. Our emails were answered promptly & we were met at the apt. on time. There were no hidden fees or deposit issues. The website description and photos are accurate. The apt. was only a 5 minute walk from the St. Micheal Station. It is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, etc. We rarely needed the Metro. For those who prefer luxury accommodations, be aware this is a basic studio apt. But it had everything we needed to feel at home and I hope to have the opportunity to stay there again !

The flat is perfect for a family of three or four with all of the modern facilities necessary for a stay. Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures, the information on the web page is accurate and very helpful and the attention given by Vladimir and the team is great. The location near the Arc de Triomphe is fantastic! You're just five minutes from the metro station but walking is the best option as you are just two or three minutes from the Champs Elysees. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

It's been over a year since I stayed at this flat and I still can't forget its charm and authenticity. It has all the modern facilities a traveler may need but with an old European charm. Very clean and safe.

The flat is just so close to everything that I didn't need to use the subway much -- just when going to really far off places. Mostly, you can just stroll around the nearby streets and you'll get anywhere you need in no time.

Joanne and I truly enjoyed your lovely city and part of our enjoyment was derived from the charming apartment on Pastourelle where we could relax and rest our tired feet and legs at the end of each day. When we first began planning our trip, friends suggested finding a place to stay in the 6th Arrondissement but no apartments were available. As a result, we ended up in the 3rd and loved it. St-Sebastien Froissart became our home Metro station and everything we could need could be easily found steps away on de Bretagne. As for the apartment itself, we could have never found as much convenience and comfort in a hotel even with a larger budget.

The residence du Pont des Arts - 1st floor was exactly as described, small but perfectly located in a residential neighborhood near all the major sites. Vladimir went 'above and beyond' to help us when we locked ourselves out of our apartment on a Saturday evening. Even though he was visiting family in Belgium, he located a locksmith who let us in withing a half hour ! We had a wonderful time during our stay in Paris.

My wife and I spent 5 days in Paris at the end of August 2011, we stayed in the Louvre apartment. It was perfect for the two of us, really handy to several Metro stops, and to Chatelet Les Halles RER station, meaning it was dead easy to get to and from the Airport, and to and from Disney !

The apartment is right beside the Louvre, 5 minute walk from the Seine. There a lots of nice wee restaurants and cafes right outside the apartment, a couple of supermarkets nearby, and a great boulangerie right across the street for your morning croissant !

The apartment itself was, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay.

Vladimir and Philipp were very helpful ! I would thoroughly recommend Residences Paris, especially the Louvre apartment !

I stayed at the Residence du Luxembourg two months, it was like my home and I really enjoyed it. It was better than a hotel, with more space and the rooms were very bright and luxury. The neighbourhood is really quiet and there are lots of shops. If I come to Paris again I want to stay in la résidence luxembourg.

I stayed at Residence Picasso for 8 nights in September 2010. The flat is exactly as shown in the photos : clean, bright and charming.

The flat is located near numerous metro stops, restaurants, markets, and shops. The flat is so well located I found myself walking to most of the sights and attractions. The neighbourhood is fantastic and as a solo (female) traveller I found the area very safe, even late at night.

The booking of the flat was easy, and Residences-Paris were prompt with their e-mail correspondence prior to my arrival. Once there, the owner of the flat, was very accommodating, easy to get in touch with, and was available to answer any questions I had.

I would recommend this flat, and hope to return soon.

I stayed at the mabillon residence from January to June while I was an exchange student in Paris. The apartment is very convenient since there is a supermarket nearby, a metro station just across the street and the neighborhood is full of restaurants and a lot of life. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that goes to Paris.

I have just returned from three fabulous days in Paris where I stayed at this flat. It was so charming, clean, and secure. You met me promptly upon my arrival and explained all the amenities of the place. He was very kind and helpful, taking the time to explain information to me and answering any questions I had.

This flat is within walking distance to the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral. It is near bus stops for the Open Bus Tour of Paris. I loved being in the heart of where the French live, surrounded by sidewalk cafes and also convenient to a nearby market for the few occasions when I wanted to cook for myself.

The flat was very clean and I enjoyed a hot shower in the evenings after a long day of sight seeing and shopping in Paris. It was secure and in close proximity to a police station.

I would hightly recommend this property as a great place to stay in Paris! Merci beaucoup pour tout !

Bill and I spent two weeks in the small residence du Pont des Arts in May. We had a great time and the apartment met our needs very well. It was fun to be in the midst of a lively neighborhood with restaurants, shops, and local markets nearby as well as to have all the important cultural and tourist sites within easy reach. It was a great value for the money.

The location is perfect for couples like us who did not want to be in a busy and loud district, yet close enough to everything; laundry mat, gym, metros, cafes, etc. While the bathroom was a bit smaller than expected, it was very clean and modern. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay in this brilliantly compact flat. It's in a fantastic location, on a quiet road just 2 streets away from all the action, (restaurants/cafés/bars/shops), and very convenient for the metro and RER, (handy for coming and going to the airport). The flat itself is tiny but makes an ingenious and charming use of space, it's packed with everything you could need for a weeks stay. We loved it and would definitely go again.

My brothers and I loved this apartment! The location was amazing and was so close to all the major attractions. Great restaurants and cafes nearby and tons of art galleries. It was a very safe environment, the apartment was very clean and spacious. We actually showed up an hour earlier than expected but Vladimir was there instantaneously after we called him. Plus he was always available by telephone and willing to help. Vladimir's apartments were recommended to us by family and we have more friends that are returning to Paris soon and will be staying in his apartments. This apartment had 1 big bed, a pull out couch that can sleep two, and a chair that converts into another single bed. We had plenty of linen and towels as well as cooking equipment and a washer. If we return to Paris we will definitely look up Vladimir's apartments again! Thanks again!

We enjoyed the Louvre studio very much (smaller than we expected but complete) and efficient. Would recommend it for 2 + 1 child but not 3 adults... The situation was wonderful and we were able to walk to the Louvre in 3 minutes, to the Opera in 10 min, to the Concorde a long but lovely walk, the Orsay Museum just across the Seine and the Left Bank and Notre Dame etc. All in walking or metro distance ! Loved it all... Problem coming back was the air controllers strike, I had to burden friends for 4 nights.

Will come again.

We enjoyed so much our stay in this little and cute apartment ! Its location, right in the center of the Quartier Latin district, it's just perfect: close to the Seine (perfect for a romantic walk at night) and close to the most chic bars and cafés in Paris.

Vladimir is just incredible : very nice and efficient, he made our stay easier. After he welcomes you in the apartment, you have the feeling that is going to be a great trip in Paris. He gives that really good feeling.

I highly recommend to come to one of the apartments : there's no better way to live Paris' life from the inside ! I will definitely return again!

My husband and I spent two weeks at the Residence d'Artagnan. It was wonderful to be able to come home at night and feel like we had our own place, rather than a more impersonal hotel. The apartment was clean, fairly spacious, and pretty. The owner lived across the hall and was able to give us recommendations on local restaurants and answered all our questions quickly before our arrival.

We enjoyed being able to explore the neighboring groceries and do some cooking for ourselves. We also liked being able to make a dinner of cheese and bread if we wanted to (not really possible in a hotel)

The location was perfect. We were able to take the metro from CDG to the station near the Notre dame, a short walk from the apartment. We were a 2-3 min walk to blvd St. Germain, 10 minutes to the Notre Dame/Louvre. There were many restaurants in different price ranges, bars, and grocery stores within a few blocks of the residence. We enjoyed our stay very much, and thought the apartment to be a good value.

We have stayed in this apartment for 11 nights in October. The Apartment was tiny by the American Standards and on 5th Floor with no Elevator (but this was not a big deal since it helped us to burn off all of the extra calories and stay in shape even on vacations).

The Apartment is located in an Excellent location right in the hearth of Saint-Germain-des-Prés (6th district of Paris) very safe area with many Stores, Bakeries, Restaurants and Coffee Shops. 10-15 min walk to Louvre and North Dame. The Metro is right across the street and there are 2 other stations close nearby.

Definitely would consider to stay here again when in Paris.

My husband and I absolutely loved the apartment and its location - right in the middle of the city. The metro and bus stops were very conveniently located and would not require much transferring to many of the sites. We walked everywhere, went grocery shopping, and came home to an apartment; we felt like true Parisians. The apartment was clean and looked exactly like the photos. With free wi-fi, we planned our next day with ease. Hotel does not compare to this apartment in terms of size, price, and convenience. Also, for Bank of America customers, there is a BNP ATM right around the corner...which we found valuable. We would stay here again and recommend this place to everyone.

I was in Paris in September 2009 and stayed at Residence Picasso for about a week. It was my 3rd visit to Paris and this time I wanted a place to feel "at home". Residence Picasso is located in a nice quiet street in Le Marais (3rd arrondissement) and I found it relatively safe to come back to at night.

The owner of the apartment, Oreste, was there to greet me upon arrival and showed me everything around the apartment, and yes, everything works. The apartment even provided a mobile phone for use during my stay which I found to be most handy for my contacts in France.

It is a fully self-contained apartment equipped with a modern TV, wi-fi and electrical appliances (the only thing missing was a washing machine) and indeed, it had everything that I needed. There were ample linen and towels in the apartment and a nice big wardrobe. My stay was extremely comfortable and as the French say "le quartier est très agréable et animé". Public transport was easy to get to, there are quite a few Metro lines serving the area (all within walking distance).

The area is lined with small individual boutiques, cafes and restaurants. As well as cafes and shops, it is also within walking distance to many places of interests : Place des Vosges (the oldest square in Paris), Musée Picasso, Centre Georges Pompidou, Musée Carnavalet etc.
I basically walked everywhere on foot. It is an ideal location for a sole traveller if you don’t feel like venturing too far.

The weather was just nice when I was there so there was no need for any heating or air-conditioning. The apartment is very airy when the windows are left open in the evening. I found it handy to have a big "La Poste" (post office) and supermarket around the corner.
It’s a very nice neighbourhood and I even met some wonderful people in the quartier.
I felt very "at home" in this apartment and will not hesitate to re-book it should I return to Paris.

We recently spent two lovely weeks in Valdimir's tiny Duc de Savoie apartment. Although it is tiny, it had everything we needed and more. In an ancient building it has the creaks and groans one would expect. A BIG plus is the quietness of the wonderful neighborhood. The location cannot be equaled. Close to the Rue de Buci for marketing, and dining. A laundromat around the corner across from a tiny Vietnamese restaurant. It is the bulls-eye of surrounding attractions. Withing easy walking distance are the Louvre, the D'Orsay, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, the Cluny Museum. We even walked to the Tour Eiffel. I could go on and on. Thank you Valdimir I only wish we could have visited with you a bit more.

I have many memories from only a five night stay at La Residence Mabillon, right in the centre of Paris. This small flat was perfect for me and my girlfriend, with all facilities being at our disposal. The rental procedure was quick and Vladimir was a great help on my arrival. Hope to be there again some day.

We spent a week in Paris at La Residence du Pont Neuf in early September and enjoyed our stay. The apartment is small with the bed occupying almost all of the living space, but it is clean, well equipped and quiet, and the location in St. Germain de Pres and bordering the Latin Quarter could hardly be beat as far as we were concerned... a block from the Seine and with all kinds of cafes and shopping, the Metro (St. Michelle), Notre Dame and the Louvre all within very easy walking distance.

And I think this website is fantastic, with the accommodation honestly represented and lots of helpful area information provided. Vladimir and Aurelien made the rental process simple and were very accommodating. In short, great location, value, and integrity, and I would recommend Residences-Paris to anyone.

We spent an incredible week in Paris at this location - we truly felt like we lived there. The apartment is in a wonderful building full of Parisian charm, with a romantic courtyard entrance from the street. Vladimir graciously greeted us and made us feel quite at home - even helped us haul our bags up the stairs, set up our wireless internet and familiarized us with the cell phone he provided.

The Odeon metro stop is just down the street, giving us access to all of Paris (although we walked almost everywhere). We were surrounded by some of the best restaurants, bakeries, cheese shops and adorable boutiques we found in all of Paris. And we felt as minimally touristy as possible ! We've only been home for a few weeks now and are already daydreaming about our next trip back, when will definitely book again with Residences Paris.

My wife and I had a nice bed and space to ourselves, our daughters had a perfect sofa bed, and our sun slept on a single bed. We had breakfast in the apartment each morning and found it very easy to get around the city from there.

We stayed for 5 nights in la Residence du Pont des Arts, and were very happy with our stay. The apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Extremely well located, in a safe neighbourhood, there are lots of shops, restaurants (and a supermarket) nearby. Many sights are within walking distance and there are a couple of metro stops quite close by.

The apartment itself is quite small, but we liked to think it was more cozy than cramped ! And it was equipped with everything we needed (including a laptop and a phone we could use for international calls!). It made our stay in Paris even better than we had hoped! Vlad was more than helpful - kind and accomodating, he made us feel right at home.

I would definitely recommend this apartment.

We stayed three nights in La Residence Beauregard. It is well located and appointed, clean and comfortable. Compared to Parisian hotel rooms and prices it is both roomy and very reasonably priced. We would happily recommend the apartment to our friends.

We stayed at La Residence du Louvre for three nights in September. The accomodations are nice, perfect for 2 people. Although there are beds for three people, the room is small. I would not recommend more than 2 people and perhaps a small child.

The room was clean, well decorated and in a perfect location. My husband and I walked to a different cafe for dinner each night we were there and we didn't have to walk more than 2 blocks to each restaurant. The Metro stop is right around the corner and the Louvre and other attractions are very close. The free international calls were a wonderful bonus. There is also a large shopping mall a couple of blocks away.

Vladimir was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this accommodation and website to anyone traveling in Paris. Can't wait to go back !

The apartment was charming, spacious and with a great view of the main boulevard ! Each night we came back after a day of touring the city and had fresh bread (from either of the two neighboring bakeries), cheese, jambon (ham), pate and a bottle of wine (from the supermarket)! It was always the best way to unwind: watching the passersby and streetlife!!!

The metro is right outside the door but everything in Paris is within walking distance- and you will need the walk to work off the great food ! My restaurant recommendations: "Baratin" (in Belleville) which has the best lamb and oxtails and "Vins des Pyrenees" (in Marais) where we had our best meal in Paris. The duck and tiramisu were to die for !

We stayed at La Résidence Richelieu for a week in early September 2009. The apartment was fantastic - clean with all the necessities. In particular, we really liked the large comfy bed and access to a phone with free long distance calling. For longer stays, there is a great laundromat just a couple blocks away.

In terms of location, you can't get much better. This apartment is in close proximity (walking distance) to all the main attractions as well as several metro stations. It is situated on a beautiful 'buzzing' street in the 2nd arrondisement providing lots of shopping and restaurant choices. Some nights of the week can be noisy because there are a couple of bars directly across the street. Closing the shutters on the windows went a long way to helping out though.

All in all we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to go back!

We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights in early September and had a great time. It is very close and easy to get to form the transit lines as well as an easy walk to all the Louvre area monuments. Rue Montorgueil, just around the corner, became one of our favorite places to eat and hangout. Giovanni was very helpful and accessible throughout our stay and the room was clean and secure with very nice amenities.

We spent a nice week in Paris, in the Residence Duc de Savoie. The apartment was small, but very cozy and convenient. We had everything necessary for life. The free Internet is really a big bonus. This studio is perfectly situated in the very heart of Paris, but no street noise. A lot of sights are within walking distance: Notre Dome, St.Chapelle, Louver and art galleries, charming café and restaurants.

We had a very nice time in Paris at La Résidence du Pont Neuf. The apartment was small, but very efficiently arranged so that two people could stay there comfortably. We heard no noise from the street or neighboring apartments. The private terrace was amazing - the perfect place to enjoy a bottle of wine at the end of the day !

The apartment was within convenient walking distance to everything we needed and wanted to see in Paris. This summer I decided to take my two teenage sons (15 and 12 yrs old) to Europe for a holiday. Staying in a cramped hotel room would have been a challenge for 5 days - so finding an apartment was fantastic and it worked out very well.

When we arrived Vlad was there to greet us and the apartment had everything that we needed. The metro is right out the front door as are the local pastry shop and food markets. In the mornings my teenage boys could sleep and I could run at canal that is a few blocks from the apartment and then we could all enjoy some famous French croissants. There are several fantastic cafes around the apartment as well - but in Paris the coffee is good everywhere (even in McDonalds they make real coffee) ! The free wireless internet and international calling was a huge bonus as well !

I honestly do not think that I will stay in hotels anymore!

We stayed at residence Vivienne on 120 rue montmartre, everything is just like it was described, Vladimir was very helpful with all our questions. The location was great, plenty of restaurant and cafe's and two blocks from the "Sentier" metro station. The flat is fine for two people but a little tight for three. The only problem is that it does not have air conditioning.

But over all a great value for your money. We will definetly rent from Vladimir in the future.

The apartment was just perfect for us. Absolutely a great location, near the most charming cafes and restaurants, art galleries, steps from Notre Dame and the Louvre. Clean and charming and even equipped with the basic necessities in the kitchen ! The supermarket is just around the corner, in case you feel like having a meal in the cute terrace.

Vladimir was very helpful, and we truly felt very welcomed. Would love to stay in La Residence du Pont Neuf again.

My sister and I enjoyed our Paris trip.

The apartment is efficient, attractive, and, although small, well-laid out for two people. It would be nice to add a bench or small couch in front of the bed. It's in a working neighborhood and therefore you experience the sounds of the city with the windows open. Everything you might need is close by.

The location is good in terms of being close to metro stops, the opera, and good shopping. Make sure you see the passage ways off the Grands Boulevards with interesting shops and even more interesting glass roofs and tile floors. Passege des Panoramas was especially good. It's an easy walk to the Opera area and large shopping stores. We walked all the way to the Eiffel Tower one day.

My sister and I have stayed in Paris before and rented from other owners. We will use Vladimir again. It was so easy to make the arrangements and meet for the keys... and thanks for carrying the suitcases up the stairs !

For this visit to Paris, I wanted a change from the "see everything, quickly" style of traveling that I had done in the past. Residence Picasso, on a quiet street in the Marais, gave me this opportunity. It was quiet, clean, easy to get to, and gave me just the experience I was looking for. After a few days, I got to know the neighborhood (and a neighbor or two); not just where things were, but the rhythms of what was happening, where, and when. For a small studio it had everything I needed (the pictures and description are quite accurate). It was also convenient : Place de La Republique is very well served by Metro lines, Rue de la Bretagne is a terrific neighborhood shopping street, there are little parks nearby, the Monoprix is a good(!) supermarket (and there are other, smaller shops closer). It is within an easy walk of several wonderful museums (including the Picasso and Pompidou), and Notre Dame is also easily walkable.

I would be very happy to stay there again.

My wife and I and our daughter just spent a delightful week in Paris at La Residence Saint-Martin, near the Canal Saint-Martin. The apartment has plenty of space to relax, with two separate sleeping rooms. Everything we needed for the week was at our fingertips and we felt very safe in this neighborhood. There are lots of nearby cafes and shops. Two bakeries just steps from the front door made for a real treat every morning. The subway station in front of the apartment allowed us to go anywhere in Paris quickly and easily.

We hope to revisit Paris in the future and would stay at this apartment again.

Thank you Vladimir, we had a wonderful time during our stay in Paris ! The location was perfect, as we were able to get anywhere we wanted in the city within a half hour. The apartment was a studio, but had plenty of room (about the size of a decent sized hotel). It was wonderful having a kitchen that we could use, instead of having to eat out every meal. The price was also great, considering we were staying in an area where you'd pay 400-500+ euros a night for a hotel. You cannot beat this deal, and still get a quality place to stay in a great location.

Vladimir was also very gracious in allowing us to change our reservation date after my wife had had a car accident and we had to move our vacation from the fall to spring (without charge). Vladimir was also VERY responsive in responding to us leading up to our stay.

I would highly recommend staying at the Louvre apartment and if we're ever back in Paris, we'll most certainly be staying at one of Vladimir's apartments !

The apartment was within walking distance to the Louvre, the Seine, the Orsay Museum, Rodin Museum, St. Chapelle. Rue Jacob was close by and was wonderful for window shopping and for many art galleries. St. Sulpice church is close by and had a free organ concert after the Sunday Mass.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals from the tasty ingredients we got at the nearby markets. It was very relaxing to have breakfast in our cozy apartment.

The apartment is in a wonderful walking location to most of the major sights, and metro stops to all others. Space is good for one, may be tight for 2 with luggage. It was our first time in Paris and we had an amazing weekend. The apartment is really lovely, it has everything you need and possibly every Paris guidebook ever published ! The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the best district, full of delicious restaurants, cheeseshops, deli's and of course the bakeries. Right around the corner are some market traders that sell charcuterie, cheese, vegetables and bread. We could not have asked for more from our Parisian trip (did I mention the weather was fantastic, sunny and cold...).

Some restaurants we loved were, l'ami Jean- rue Malar, and Les Mascottes - Montmarre and there is a brasserie across from the apartment, I can't think of the name but it had the nicest onion soup, yum !

This was the perfect spot to stay, just a block or so to the Louvre, an easy walk from the train station (i.e. easy trip to CDG!). Incredible history all around mixed with real life Paris neighborhood. On this block alone is a Boulangerie, Wine Shop, several cafes, bars, restaurants and an incredible shoe shop.

I had a wonderful week in the Louvre 2nd floor apartment. Sure it's small, but it is clean and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stock the mini-fridge for breakfast to save money... or to spend more on lunch and dinner.

Great location. Five minutes to the Louvre or Metro. Ten to the Pompidou Cneter (Modern Art Museum). Fifteen to the Orsay or Orangerie. I bought a four-day museum pass and made great use of it. Straightforward transactions with Vladimir... very helpful.

I had a great stay at Residence Richelieu. Believe me, for the price, an hotel is a complete waste of money. The main room was lovely and large with a view onto a “rue typiquement parisien”, with a lovely and convenient kitchen and bath. I'll be calling the next itme I'm in town.

Enjoyed our stay at la Residence Due de Savoie this week. The apartment is within walking distance and so close to everything - only 2 blocks away from the la Seine River - and so quiet. Vladimir's honesty and professionalism helped to put my mind at ease as this was the first time I rented an short-term apartment. If you are limited on time in Paris, I suggest you buy the bus 3-day tour with L'Open Tour as it allows you to hop off and hop on as much as you want and it was a time-saver and allowed us to see as much as Paris as we could. Also all the restaurants were soo good - one being La Saint De Michel.

I will definitely book with Vladimir when I return to Paris.

Dear Vladimir,

My daughter and I stayed at the Residence du Louvre for 10 days in August 2008. The residence itself is irresistibly charming and we felt that it was our little nest in the heart of Paris. Our host has made us feel welcome and taken care of. The location was absolutely superb. The Louvre is a minute away (you don't believe it is in front of you the first time you see it - and many times after, actually) and we recommend walking through its courtyards in the evenings. Most of the crowds are gone, there is always a musician in one of the passages playing something soulful, and the pyramid surrounded by fountains is beautifully lit.

Our street was full of restaurants and the recommendation goes to L’Emile. There is a boulangerie next to the restaurant - highly recommended, always has a line-up of locals at lunch - and many antique shops. To the left of us was an absolutely beautiful covered passage, so removed from the tourist crowds, but note that in August many places are closed.

Palais Royal is very near, and next to it Comedie Francaise, and this is a lovely area to walk through. Shops and cafes anywhere you turn, of course. This was behind our residence. On the other side - a short walk away is Les Halles (there is a park with a playground for kids as well), and a little further Rue Montorgueil, all within 10-minutes walk. Rue Montorgueil is a must for anyone who wants to taste the many flavours of Paris. Our favourites : Casa della Pasta (an amazing array or prepared foods) and Stohrer’s - a Paris landmark since 18th century, a patisserie and a gastronomic shop.

Further explorations are possible on foot, but we recommend the Metro. It is efficient, safe, and saves feet and time. An exception to this is crossing the river on Pont Neuf to Ile de la Cite and then Ile St. Louis - lovely to walk around.

We enjoyed very much discovering Paris and not a small part of that was Residence du Louvre. Our plan is to come back.

We recently stayed at the Residence Saint-Martin for 6 nights. It was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. We really loved the location as it felt like "Paris living". Residence Richelieu was every bit as beautiful, spacious and clean as it appears on the website. The apartment is located in a good neighborhood, with the Sentier stop about two short blocks away. The Montorgueil market, Les Halles stop and the Louvre are in the vicinity.

Although the pub across the street gets busy Saturday evening, it was quiet the rest of the week. I would recommend this apartment to those looking for a more spacious alternative to hotels.

We had a beautiful time at your sweet Pont des Arts apartment - a cozy loft with everything we needed in the perfect location for exploring Paris. And to our great surprise, our favorite restaurant turned out to be right across the street : Le Bistrot Mazarin! The gazpacho is to die for, and we loved the bronzino with veggies and strawberry tarte for dessert. Yum!

On our last night, we discovered rue Bucci, just around the corner. What a cool scene ! Sitting shoulder to shoulder with beautiful people, sipping calvados - Is that Parisian, or what ?!

A tip for those heading out of town, or who just want to picnic in the park : Check out Cosi on rue de la Seine before you go. They have great foccaccio sandwiches to go with every yummy filling you can imagine. They sustained us on the TGV all the way to Aix-en-Provence.

Dear Vladimir, we really enjoyed our stay in Paris. Unfortunately my husband came down with a cold after getting a chill on the plane but he managed to enjoy himself in Paris as much as possible. It was our first trip to Paris and I do hope we can come again one day. If so, will look up your website again for accommodation. We really appreciated being able to book into the apartment at such short notice.

As you may know, our original accommodation unfortunately had a major plumbing problem and we had to move as we could not use the bathroom facilties. You and Aurelien were most helpful in accommodating us into the apartment, and we really appreciated that they arranged for the apartment to be cleaned and ready for us.

We stayed 9 nights in the apartment at Saint Martin. The appartment is well equipped and comfortable. A metro station is 20 meters nearbye ! the Republic square, Saint Martin Canal are few minutes walk. The area around has lots of restaurants, Brasseries and a supermarkt. Mr. Vladimir (the owner of www.residences-paris.com) is an honest man !

We stayed two nights at Residence Marais with our two children. It is a sunny, clean and comfortable apartment on the second floor of a quiet street adjacent to the Pompidou Center and walking distance from the Louvre and Notre Dame. Markets on the block made cooking at home easy. Great bed and sofa couch was very comfortable. I highly recommend this affordable place in an ideal location. It was hard to operate the key to the door though - get tips from the owner on that.

We've just came recently from Paris where we've stayed at La Residence du Pont Neuf - a cute and quiet studio for two with a private patio for morning cafe :) . The location is just excellent - the street leads you right to the embakment with the walking distance to Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxemburg gardens... We'll definately refer any of our friends to Residences-Paris and hope to come back again in the nearest future.

We stayed at La Residence du Louvre and found it to be truely excellent. Its central location made it perfect for sight-seeing and for many exquisite French restaurants. Our host Philipp Welke was most gracious and helpful. The flat contaons everything we needed for our stay and was a great santuary at the end of our very busy days.

We stayed at Residence du Pont des Arts, 2nd floor in March, and had a wonderful time ! Vladimir was awesome - very helpful and easy-going. Our apt was cute, and clean and quiet, and very central! I was a bit nervous about renting an apartment, but I would definitely do it again with Residences-Paris. Thank you Vladimir for such a greate experience !

We (4 people) enjoyed our stay at La Residence Saint-Martin. The apartement is located near a couple great restaurants, several grocery stores and Place de la Republique is very close. We were very glad to have a roomy apt with clean towels, wifi and a full functioning kitchen. Expect us back soon !

My 2 daughters and I stayed in the St-Sulpice residence in March. Vladimir thank you for your helpfulness and punctuality - you were great. I loved the area but think the flat would be better advertised for 2 people than 3 - the top bunk was very close to the ceiling and a bit claustrophobic. We have recommended VRBO to friends as I think it is such a great service.

We stayed in the Comte du Poitou and loved it. The apartment is pretty small, but this is more than made up for by the fantastic layout, incredibly thoughtful design and appointments, the amazing amount of light, and the perfect location: the apartment is on a quiet street but is a very short walk from the liveliest areas of the Marais. It's also close to some Velib stands - you'll never take the Metro! We loved the apartment, and Vladimir and our landlord could not have been easier or more pleasant to work with. Very highly recommended.

We stayed in Pont Des Arts for four nights in April 2008. The apartment is very well located in a great area with lots to do. The use of the phone, laptop and kitchen facilities came in very handy. We walked for miles around Paris and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

My friend and I had a great time in the first floor studio apartment at Residence du Pont des Arts. The location was fantastic. Although small, it was just what we needed for our stay in Paris. Having the grocery store down the street and the mini-kitchen in the studio saved us a lot of money. The computer and internet connection were very useful to have. Thank you for everything. My wife and I were in Paris for the first time. We had travelled there with friends for the Paris Marathon. Staying at the Rue de Savoie apartment was fantastic as it allowed up to cook a breakfast prior to the race, and cook afterwards when we couldn't walk to go out to eat! :-) It was pleasant, quiet, cozy, and close to everything. I rented the studio on rue de Conde near the Odeon Metro. It was fantastic. It's in a safe area of the 6th, but very close to everything. I had selected another place but it was booked for the week I would be in Paris. Vladimir suggested 4 other places within my budget. He was very helpful and kind - especially since this was very, very last minute (I booked on Friday/Saturday and arrived in Paris on Monday morning).

Duc de Savoie...What a fantastic location !!! 2 blocks from the Metro...and 15 minutes from anywhere you want to go in Paris. I rented Duc de Savoie for 9 days. This apartment was in a lively and exciting part of Paris, St-Germain. We were very close to everything yet the apartment was located on a nice, quiet street. You can trust Vladamir, his sister Olga whom we dealt with and his associates. He delivers what he promises and does it with dispatch. The Prince de Conde looks down on an enclosed courtyard and is steps away from a safe and entertaining neighborhood. We are in our 60's and were in Paris during a national transit strike, but were able to walk to nearly everything we wanted to see. We will rent from Vladamir again.
